Baby Shower

So I am a little behind on our blog....all I can say is that my "nesting" phase is offically over and now we are on to "lets lay around in our pjs and eat" phase.  Here is a little update on what has been happening over the past 2 weeks.

Our baby shower was held on December 29 and it was hosted by my mother and mother-in-law in Lansdale, PA. In typical Davis fashion (as we had a major winter storm the day of our wedding) the snow was falling and many guests were not able to make it. We enjoyed spending time with family and friends and even played some games like "Name that Baby Food", "Belly Size Guess" (For Mommy & Daddy), and even the Mommy & Daddy "Diaper Changing Race" (which naturally Mommy won hands down). We had so much fun sharing the day with the people that we love most. Unlike most baby showers we made it a co-ed event. Having the men there really meant a lot to Brandt and I! I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to have a fun baby shower.

After the shower we were busy putting together the changing table my grandparents got us as well as finding places for all the new things Bryn was given. I wanted to do something special with all the card we received at the shower so I made a collage and put it in a frame to hang in her nursery.

I then made a book by using a whole punch, ribbon, and an invitation from the shower to make a memory book of the day for Bryn.
